Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour
HIMO is for real connections. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post, send or use HIMO to:
- Post nudity, images of genitals, pornographic images or language — including in private messages when the recipient has not asked for it.
- Offer, arrange or seek sex for money, escort services, "paid dating" or any exchange of money or gifts for sexual activity.
- Harass, threaten, bully, insult or discriminate against anyone, publish someone's personal information, or keep contacting a person who has said no.
- Screenshot, save or pass on photos from someone else's private album. Private albums are shared on trust: taking someone's photos out of the app is a serious violation and can get your account permanently closed.
- Impersonate others, use photos that are not yours, create fake profiles, scam, ask for money, advertise or send bulk messages.
- Involve anyone under 18 in any way.
- Post violent or hateful content, content that encourages self-harm, drug content, or anything illegal in Vietnam or where you live.
- Interfere with the service: scraping, automation, collecting other users' data, or circumventing safety features.
Moderation and enforcement
Profile photos and post photos are reviewed by an automated system (Sightengine) before anyone else can see them; violating photos are rejected. We also review content manually: when it is reported, and — when reasonably necessary for safety, support, fraud prevention or enforcing these terms — any content stored on HIMO, including private messages and private albums, by authorized staff as described in the Privacy Policy (section 3).
Every user can report a profile, post, comment or message from inside the app and block anyone. We aim to review reports within 24 hours and handle reports about safety first: violating content is removed and the violating account may be suspended or deleted without notice.
We may remove any content and suspend or terminate an account when we believe these terms have been violated, other users are at risk, or a competent authority requires it.
Photos in a private album go through the same automated review as post photos, and anyone you open the album to can report an individual photo. A private album is not an exception to the rules above.
Meeting safely
HIMO does not run background checks on users. Protect yourself: meet in public places, tell someone you trust, never send money to someone you just met, and report anything suspicious to us.
Reporting and blocking
- Someone is harassing me. Tap ⋯ in the chat or on the profile → Report, then Block. We aim to review within 24 hours.
